About Nepal and this Trip
Located between India and Tibet, Nepal offers a fantastic array of attractions for tourists. Itʼs best known as the home of Mount Everest, but there is much more to the country than just the worldʼs highest mountain. Nepal is a fascinating land of ancient history, scenic grandeur, and vibrant cultures & people. Itʼs also one of the richest countries, in the world in terms of bio-diversity, due to its unique geographical position. Nepal is situated between the worldʼs two largest & most ancient civilizations (China & India) and has an incredibly diverse culture because of this unique location. Nepal is the holy land of Lord Pashupatinath and Gautam Buddha, where the Hindus and Buddhists have coexisted for centuries in total harmony. Lord Buddha, the ʻlight of Asiaʼ, was born in Lumbini in Nepalʼs southern plains. This makes Nepal a sacred pilgrimage destination for all Buddhists. The temple of Pashupatinath is Nepalʼs most sacred Hindu shrine and one of the four most important sites in the world for Shiva worshippers.

Get ready for your Himalayan Yoga Experience
Anyone can be ready to benefit from the paradise like setting of Annapurna Region. There will be a stay of 6 days in cozy hotels while in the city and the rest will be accommodation in tea houses, while in trek. There will be ample space available for yoga sessions, away from the hustle and bustle. These will either be well spacious halls or open spaces, according to what is available. Tea houses in Annapurna trail provide you with hygienic family-oriented lodges with twin bed sharing rooms with clean toilets and bathrooms. You have variety of choices for the food and in Annapurna tea houses cooks are proficient in preparing the variety that is in their menu. All three meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) will be provided for during the trek period. (The stay in hotels Kathmandu, Pokhara, will be on Bed & Breakfast basis.) Plus, experience natural hot springs of the Himalayan region. This will surely be once in a lifetime experience. According to local lore they are a source of healing for a number of ailments. These hot water springs are locally known as ‘tatopani’ simply meaning ‘hot water’. Wanderlust Nepal provides you with very warm sleeping bag and feather duvet jackets which will provide warmth in the chill of late November nights\evenings and mornings. Doris will host you on this 13-day journey and will provide a thoughtful balance of discovering Nepali hospitality and culture, trekking through some of the most stunning landscapes on the planet, and providing an unparalleled opportunity to practice yoga and align your mind, body, and spirit. The itinerary (see below) is designed that the walks are reinvigorating and not very exhausting.

Day One
Arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to hotel and orientation (you will be picked up and driven to hotel)

Sightseeing, culture, landmarks and yoga (fully guided tour, bed and breakfast included)
Day Three
Flight to Pokhara (25 minute flight, half day sightseeing, bed and breakfast included)
Day Four
Syauli Bazaar
Begin trekking, exploring and yoga (2 hours of trekking, breakfast, lunch, and dinner included)
Day Five
Trek to Ghandruk, explore and yoga (4 hours of trekking, altitude of 1940M, breakfast, lunch and dinner included)
Day Six
Little Paradise (Ghandruk Kot)
Trek to Little Paradise, explore and yoga (trek to Kimrong Danda for morning tea, breakfast, lunch and dinner included)
Day Seven
Jhinu Dada
Trek to Jhinu Dada, explore and yoga (30 minute trek to hot springs, breakfast, lunch and dinner included)
Day Eight
Trek to Tolka, explore and yoga (2 hours of trekking, altitude 2590M, breakfast, lunch and dinner included)
Day Nine
Australian Camp
Trek to Australian Camp, explore and yoga (1.5 hour of trekking, breakfast, lunch and dinner included)
Day Ten
Trek to Khade, explore and yoga (1.5 hours of trekking, drive back to Pokhara 1 hour of drive, breakfast included)
Day Eleven
Back in Pokhara (explore, yoga and sightseeing, bed and breakfast included)
